Position Overview:

The VP, Enterprise Sales Proposals will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of responding toRequests forInformation andRequests for Proposals (collectively,RFxs), providing sales support for activedealsand managingdeal negotiations. This role requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in proposal development, contract negotiation, and sales operations. The VP, Enterprise Sales Proposals will lead a team of professionals dedicated to ensuring high-quality, compliant, and competitive responses toRFxsand the efficient management ofdeal negotiations.

The HealthEdge Commercial Excellence function includes Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing. These three organizations, combined as the Commercial Excellence function, are responsible for meeting the business’s annual and long-term financial objectives, ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction, and increasing HealthEdge brand awareness and market visibility.

Your impact:

Leadership and Strategy

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the RFxresponses, deal managementandnegotiationmanagement processes.

  • Provide leadership and direction to theproposal andsales support resources.

  • Align departmental goals with the company's sales objectives and strategic plan.

Proposal Management

  • Oversee the development and submission of high-quality, compliant, and competitive proposals.

  • Ensure all proposals are tailored to meet client requirements and are submitted on time.

  • Collaborate with various departments (e.g., finance, legal, product) to gather necessary information for proposals.

Deal Support

  • Work in concert withsales leadershipto prioritize and focusteam resources.

  • Proactivelymanage team resources tosupportand drivesales opportunities.

  • Manage team resources to engage sales and product teams to develop deal specific price quotes.

  • Facilitatethedeal reviewprocess to ensure deal specific price transparency to company leadership.

Deal NegotiationManagement

  • Leaddealnegotiations to secure terms and conditionsthat balancethecompany’s and the customer’s needs.

  • Ensure contracttermsalignwiththe company’s business,legal and regulatory standards.

  • Manage the contractnegotiationlifecycle, includingnew customer contracts,renewals,andamendments.

Process Improvement

  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes for proposal development, deal managementandnegotiationmanagement.

  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Utilize data and analytics to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders (e.g., sales, marketing,legal,productmanagement).

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the proposal and contract negotiation phases.

What you bring:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales,sales support, pricing,proposal development, and contract management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Healthcare subject matter expertise, withsolid technical knowledge/aptitude with enterprise class insurance transaction and health care management information systems

  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex RFxresponses and contract negotiations.

  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonalskillsand ability to interact with internal and external customers. Able to influence key executive-level stakeholders and negotiate contract terms.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Proficiency in CRM and proposal management software.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive initiatives that align with business goals.

  • High level of integrity and ethical standards.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA ispreferred
